Visa refusal - help needed please..!

Hello..

My name is Akash. I have filed my visa on 19th Nov and I got my passport delivered on 30th of Nov. I was shocked when I came to know that my visa was refused.

Can anyone please help me with your suggestions on what should I do next..,

Btech - Computer science (in India)
Master's - Computers related course (in London)
IELTS - 6.5 overall
Applied for MBA in Canada
Reason for rejection : "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of : your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects or plans"


This is my profile and I have applied for MBA in one of the educational institutions in Canada after completing my masters in UK (Jan 2011). I have applied my visa from India itself.

Can anyone please give me suggestions on what should I do further. To re-apply with same acceptance letter for MBA or change of course and then re-apply or any other suggestions. Thanks in advance for everyone..
 
Which school in Canada?
 
i think you should change your course according to your previous study....change it and you will get it... :) ;)
 
Thanks so much for your reply.. Do you want me to re-apply with a course which is related to Computers background (as both my bachelors n masters are in computers)..!

Do you think I can get visa this time if I re-apply with Computers course..? Have you came across my situation with any other person earlier..?
 
Its none of my concern but my friend why do you want to do MBA after getting a masters degree from UK? Its a little suspicious as it looks like the only thing you want to do a MBA course is because you can come to Canada.
 
Yah thats true.....be relevant in your application and you will definately get it next time......i belive its more on the grounds of suspicion that you got your application turned down.

MBA and general business courses (IBM,GBM)etc are open for all background students.you don't need a business background to study business related program unless you are going for specialisation courses like marketing,finance,HRM etc.

Bro, i myself prepared for the CAT exam in india, and know how good a MBA degree from a reputed college can be!

But he has a master's degree in science, and now he is going for a master's degree in business!

Admission In good MBA school is very competitive.you require GMAT/work etc. to qualify for admission.Visa officers are ware with the fact.

If he had applied with GMAT/work experience in a good school result could have been in his favor.

It is almost immpossible to secure visa with such low grade school like FDU-MBA,NYIT-MBA (private institute + admission is piece of cack)

My pint to say was, where admission is very competitive it's that easy to get visa.

My visa still not come :/. 7th working day today. Gave CAQ and letter from McGill dean. Not sure what's wrong. In your experience do you think I'm over reacting?

hello everyone..!!
i have applied for MBA in NYIT,vancouver campus and i got the admit.
my profile:
Xth:77(cbse)
XIIth:90.7
btech: 75(cse with no backlogs)
i heard that to get visa for nyit is a bit difficult but now i have no other option since i have paid the fees too..!!
i am planning to drop my visa application this week. can any tell me what are the chances for my visa to get approved?? and where should i be more careful while applying for the visa?? if i pay 1 year fees will it be a positive thing?? please do reply anyone...!!
