I have a question, im the sponsor and I think I made a mistake on a document
On the marriage certificate in Mexico I have my second name becuse they use my birth certificate for information.
But the problem is that I dont put my second name on any form for the app because I dont use my second name.
You think it will be a problem at the VO in Mexico?

There was a question in one of the forms (IMM 1344 I think) “Have you ever used any other names?”. You were supposed to put your second name from your birth certificate in there. I think it would be better to send a letter explanation with attached corrected form via webform just in case.

Maybe even a letter of explanation would do. You can attach a copy of your birth certificate (in case you didn’t submit it with your application) and write an explanation why your name on your marriage certificate is different than in your forms. It’s hard to say if you need to send a corrected form but in my opinion you definitely need to update IRCC about this discrepancy.
