Hey, I live in Turkiye/Turkey, and I wanna apply as a refugee to Canada. So I was wondering: do I need to get visa or passport is enough?

To apply as a refugee, you must register with UNHCR and they will decide where you are settled. If Turkey is your country of citizenship, you will need to leave Turkey and register in another country. It will take years and you don’t decide where you want to be resettled.
If you want to claim asylum, you do that at the border. You need a visitor visa so you need to show proof of funds, travel history, ties to home country etc. to be approved. At the border, you claim asylum with your proof (medical, hosptial, police records etc.) of fear or persecution.

I am a Turkish citizen. My family forcing me to marry with a girl but I don't want to since I am a gay... I'm afraid my dad will kill me if he finds out I'm gay. I've been living with this fear for my entire life... I don't have any prove that I am being persecuted. But I do have a friend in Canada who knows what I'm going through. I told him what's going on in my life and he advised me to apply as an asylum seeker to Canada.
You cannot apply for asylum to Canada directly from Turkey. To claim asylum here directly, you need to obtain a TRV (tourist visa), fly to Canada and then claim asylum once you arrive here. So the first step is to apply for a TRV. To be approved, you generally need to show strong ties to your home country and also that you have enough money to pay for your trip.
Yup, I'm applying for my passport tomorrow and I'll apply for visa next week. I'll start to work to gather money to buy a ticket. My friend will also help me when i get there. But I'm afraid after all the things I do, what if they don't accept me? İs there anything else I can do? And do you think would it help if I contact with some LGBTQ+ organizations?
Focus on TRV first. Do not buy a ticket. To be approved you need to show your own bank funds to support yourself, ties to home country (job letter with approved leave, investments, business etc.) and travel history (UK, US, NZ, AUS).
If the TRV is refused, then you would need to leave Turkey and relocate to another country. Once there, you would need to be recognized as a refugee by UNHCR. Once that happens, then you would need to find someone willing to sponsor you to Canada. If your friend is a Canadian citizen or a PR, then you can see if they are willing to sponsor you through the group of five program. Otherwise you would need to try to find an organization in Canada willing to sponsor you. This is generally quite difficult to do. The best option is if your friend meets the requirements and can sponsor you. If this is possible, you should expect this process to take about three years to complete.
