I applied on 30th october and on the same day I received an email from cic that they received my application and my agent also gave me document which has clearly mentioned about the application number.
On the very next day, I got another email from cic about my application being updated.

Since then nothing till date.

You need to give your academic documents along with transcript if any, SOP, passport, financial documents, family information and of course visa fees.
