Hello everyone,
I recently came back to Canada and my study will be finished in April. I am 15 weeks pregnant and my due date is in august. Due to COVID the processing time has increased. Is there any way my husband can get any visa. Thank you in advance.

Because your study permit and studies finish soon, it is best to wait until you have a skilled job with 3 paystubs. Then apply. You can try now but it may be refused because you are close to finishing your studies. If approved, he then need written authorization to travel. Being pregnant while on a study permit will not expedite the process.

For your spouse to get an SOWP you need to have 6 months left on your studies. TRV may not be approved although you can certainly try. Even with a TRV special authorization may not be granted. You should certainly try but would be prepared for your husband not to be able to join you. If granted he would need to quarantine away from you because pregnant women are considered at higher risk when it comes to covid and may have contact with the health system.

Depending on where you are studying you may also have problems with health coverage. If you have international student health coverage and your coverage only started after you were pregnant many policies won't cover you.
