VISA FILING DATE???

Please anyone tell me the visa filing date for Jan intake 2013 ... as i got accepted by univ of guelph .. and they will give me the original offer letter by regular mail only (i asked them to send it by courier but they are not) as they told me to proceed with visa filing process with scanned version for now ...and when you received the original one by mail after one month (about 10 th dec) then deliver it to visa office.
CAN I DO THIS ..and APPLY FOR VISA WITH ONLY SCANNED VERSION?

As for Indian visa applications, a scanned copy is enough !
When I submitted my original offer letter at VFS, the guy asked me to submit only a photocopy and told me that none of the documents would be returned to me ! Hence I had to remove my original offer letter and i just submitted a photocopy !
You dont have to send your original to visa office ! the original should be shown at the airport when you arrive in canada along with a valid visa !

So Chill, go ahead with the scanned copy ! In India Scanned/Photocopy is enough !

Last Date Nov 30 officially but they do accept after that also till Dec 10/15 usually.

My Embassy also is Delhi, Am not sure about how long your visa get approval.. as of my knowledge from 3 days to some case 60 days also happened. you can see many post here..


You have to take medical first and wait for a week to apply visa...
