Visa fees receipt mix up

Two families applied Canadian visa on same day.
One family 4 members
2nd family 2 members
Their were 6 visa fee receipts.
During processing one visa fees was mistakenly used for two applicants among two members from each family.
Visa approved for one family(4 members ) whereas 2nd family received email from Canadian embassy that the fees submitted by them have been used and subsequently their passports returned.
We have replied to email for our mistakes.
What is the fastest way to get visa for second family. Visa is tourist business visa and no issues for credentials

There is no fast process to get a visa, esp. when it's the applicant who has missed something. What email have you sent your query on and also raise a CSE using a webform?
