I am CEC applicant currently uploading my documents postITA and will submit my documents today. My post graduation work visa is expiring on July 2, 2017. My question is i am out of canada for last 5.5 months bcz of my marriage. Can I return back to canada any time before expiring of my visa or they'll deny me entry to canada if i live out of canada more than 6 months??

Apply for BOWP after submitting eAPR

i think i can only apply for bowp if i m currently in canada but i m outside of canada for almost last 6 months. Although i have visa for another 3 months but my fear is they'll deny me entry at port because of this long stay is it the case??

If you will come back few days or a week before expiring of your visa, then they might have some problem with that, As long as you will not wait until the last second you are fine to go back to Canada

You can come back, but immigration officers are going to ask you why are you returning now and if you have a job and if you have applied for an extension and etc. It really depends of the immigration officer at the boarder(or airport). That happened to me and I got back to Canada.

However, In your case I would not do it now, you only have 4 months of visa left. You should wait back home for your papers to be processed and get your residency sort out. It might take you less than 4 moths, but you will not have to spend money going back to canada and leave Canada if they tell you to.

Cheers.
