Hi. My visitor visa (TRV) is expired. But I want to work under the table before I go back to my homeland. My question is, if I work beyond the validity of my permit and then decide to go home after, will the immigration officers at the airport ask me for any documents? Or will they just ask for my plain ticket and ID or passport only? Thanks.

You can just leave. Hopefully you have no plans to return to Canada in the future.

Hey take it easy. you really don't know what my situation is.

I'm not judging.

I'm making a factual statement that visa overstays and illegal work complicate future entries into Canada.

So then what's your situation? You're doing this because you have a starving family back home?
