If you have multiple visa than no need to cancel and you can visit any time (till the expiry of visa)
Mostly multiple entry having longer expiry time

For single entry it will expired (there should be to expiry date)

just to add that a visa is issued against an individual passport and not for a group so as above the fact you cannot make neither affects the group or you so no need to cancel.
