Visa Approved - S-1 Category Study Visa query!

Hello Friends,

My Canada Study Visa has been approved on 4th May 2017. I applied under Non -Spp on 15t march 2017.
The Visa Stamped on my passport show Categoy S-1 and has a 1year validity.
My program is not Co-op. Will i be allowed to work off camous with this study permit or will i have to wait for a period of 6 months before i start working.Please Reply

As far as I know, you can start working right away. But wait for others to comment.

You can work part time during school which is 20 hrs per week and full time during school breaks. You can only start work when you actually attend classes.

i got my passport stamped for 1 year
but my course is for 2years
will it be a problem
