Its not must

It is written on cic.gc.ca that "Letter of Introduction is required at the port of entry for issuing study permit to the student and the officer there will verify it before issuing you one".
Even the Canadian Embassy (when telephoned) says that this Letter is necessary for the students..........

Has anyone received this letter, those who applied in June 2014??

I am in great confusion now because I don't know what to do and expect at port of entry...
please help....

i also not got LOI. But no worry students who had not recieved LOI in the past are studying now in canada.

HI,
Does not having a LOI cause any problem for you at port of entry?
