Visa approval for those with exemptions

I am one of the people with exemptions on the visa application. My husband is a PR in Canada and I applied for a visiting visa for a short visit. My application is ongoing and I have done the medical test they requested I should do. It was uploaded on my status on May 1st that I passed my medicals and since then, I have heard anything and there hasn't been any other update. Please is there anyone that has an exception and has gotten a visa during this lockdown? Kindly respond, thank you.

The TRV process is completely separate from actually being able to travel under an exemption. You still have to qualify for the TRV as normal. Processing is significantly delayed, so no one can tell you how long it will take.

Thank you. But I was asked to go do a medical test, which I did and passed. It was uploaded on my status on the first of may. What does that imply please?
