Hey everyone,
I am trying to apply for a visitor visa for my parents. My father was a military officer. Started as a lieutenant, and retired as Colonel. So he did not have a conventional job.
My question is following:
1- When I fill form it asks if he served in Military. Well, he served but it was his work too. So should I say Yes Or NO? If I say yes it asks for locations ant etc. It is basically the same things that I will add to work. So I am a little bit confused.
2- As a Job title I chose Infantry Officer as Job title and Education, law, government services occupation as Work/Activity. Do you think it is ok ?

I would be surprised if the IRCC did not regard a lifelong career in the military as "military service". What else would it be?

As for your question #2, without looking at the form and how it frames the questions, I cannot say.
Yeap I totally agree. Thanks for input
