Ive recently submitted my student permit application and just receive a notification that i need to get a fbi clerance from usa before cic could process my application. The problem is, the current processig time to get the clerance is 12-16weeks but my school will start on sept 2. Should i apply to defer my studies to next semester? Or I could go ahead and apply for it first, then tell cic that ive applied and hopefully they could proceed and approved my permit? Then after receiving the police report i will then submit to cic? Because the dateline given by cic is dec but my school is starting soon and i need the student permit obviously to start school on time. Any advice is appreciated thanks!!!!!!
