Visa Application at the Canadian Border

Hi Folks,

I have an urgent query. Does CSBA issue visa to foreigners at the border?

My aunt and parents have a spur of moment decision to travel to US for a month. They have US multiple entry visa and have already booked tickets. They are set to fly out on October 26. As it is time sensitive, they wont have time to do a TVR application in the their home country (the Philippines).

I'm currently residing in Toronto as a PR.

They won't be staying long here, at the most is a week to visit me and check my living conditions.

I'd appreciate your advices! Thank you.

No - CBSA won't issue a visitor visa at the border if your aunt and parents hold a non visa exempt passport. They will have to apply in advance if they want to visit Canada. If they don't have time to complete a TRV application in the Philippines then they can apply from the US.
