Hi advise needed
Is it eligible to apply for visitors visa for my kids when there Canadian proof of citizenship application is already in process and if applied will they be given..wife is Canadian citizen born in Canada by a Canadian mother and living outside Canada with husband and kids and works in the husband company and married for 10yrs or is it better they apply together with father who has a good travel history to Europe and America but never been to Canada
There father is company owner and property owner and good account no intentions of relocating.

If they are citizens, they can't get visas. From what you said, they are clearly citizens (Canadian mother, kids will be first generation born outside Canada) and you should just wait for the citizenship to be confirmed.

There mother is a Canadian born and has lived 35yrs of her life outdisde Canada and married and had her kids outside Canada the application for the kids proof of citizenship application was submitted in April but the family of wife are inviting kids so they will see them for the first time they have never meet seen each other before and some of the wife's relatives are so old and may not last so long.
So they were advised to apply for visa pending when there citizenship certificate will be ready and passport will be applied for

Hard to say what to do in the circumstances. If travel is extremely urgent and the kids have to go soon, then I guess you can apply for the visa. Worst case you'll simply be refused - you don't lose anything besides the $100 application fee per kid.

Thanks for your advice the father is considering applying visa with the kids but concerned that if the kids are denied visa that he too might also be denied visa Based on The fact that the kids are Canadian citizens.
Maybe he will apply visa for himself alone then apply for the kids when his visa is out...kindly advise.

Do you have a strong profile? Lots of travel, sufficient finances, strong ties etc? If yes, then applying with the kids shouldn't be an issue.

In fact, it's not the kids that will cause issues with your TRV - it's the fact that you have a Canadian wife. Still, strong ties to your home country are enough to overcome this.

If the kids are denied, the father can still get a visa - it's not an all or nothing proposition. However, yes, you can apply separately too, but then you're adding a few weeks to the process, and at that point you might as well wait for the citizenship to come through.

Yes there's strong ties, we have a big company that we have run for 10yrs
Good account
Landed properties
Good travel history and valid USA visa
Wife was born in Canada by a Canadian woman and American father but was given up for adoption at birth after 3 days so she has never known-her bio mum until just recently last year that they made contact..wife visited bio mum in Canada after she visited her and meet her other siblings and aged grand mother now they want the kids to come and see there great grandmother who is above 85yrs before she dies
Keep in mind citizenship application can take a very long time to process and adoptive mum still alive and lives with us.

Did your wife grow up in Canada? It sounds like she didn't. Have you verified that she kept her Canadian citizenship?

Geeting citizenship for the children can take almost a year.

She didn't grow up in Canada like I said she was given up at birth for adoption when she was 3 days old and they brought her when she was 4yrs old.
She is a full Canadian citizen born in Ontario province and has Ontario birth certificate...already issued her Canadian passport.
The high consular here has profiled the kids before accepting the application for the proof of citizenship.....if they are not eligible there application won't be accepted for submission.

Many scenario where children would renounce citizenship so had to ask if she had spent 35 years out of Canada.

Keep in mind she was a baby of 3 days old when her Canadian mother gave her up for adoption and she was adopted by African couple who brought her to Africa when she was 4yrs old and never told her that She was adopted until she found out and applied for her Canadian passport and got it after 20 days after showing her Canadian birth certificate and other documents that was sent to IRCC and after 20 days her Canadian passport was issued and sent to there Embassy here for collection and immediately we submitted the application for the kids Canadian proof of citizenship application.

Just asking a question because you had indicated that she had not lived in Canada for the majority of her life. You never know.

Yes She has never lived in Canada but she visits Canada and America and U.K. most times and has a valid Canadian drivers license and Canadian social insurance number...

My concern is the kids chances of getting visitors visa while the citizenship application is on going whether to apply for the kids or wait for the application to fall thru.
