Visa and landing, please clarify.

Hello Everyone,

I would be happy if you clarify me on issues about landing. When is one suppose to enter Canada after the visa is issued , considering that the visa is valid from the time of medicals, will the embassy ask you to enter Canada on a particular time or if your visa expires say, july 30th, can one land on that same july?
