hi,,
i want to ask one thing once ppr is issued my lawer told me if i take ppr letter with me and direct go to consulate i can get visa stamped very next day pl share your comments is it right???? my visa office is hong kong and i live in hong kong to so what once i get ppr i take it with me direct to the consulate in hong kong and get visa stamped???

I have never heard that but it may depend on the visa office. Contact Hong Kong and ask.

I don't think so. Even in person requires to submit the passports and required documentation. Alternative is to send through courier. Whatever suits one. I sent to London from Dubai through courier and it took 14 days.

Thanks

Has the medical been done? Did VO received your medical reports if not then it is not possible. VO may take some days to analyse your medical results, so if the medicals were done a few days ago like a month or so, you can try to go there on Monday and check yourself. Please do let us know about your experience about the same.

Cheers..

In any case I do not think they issue visas same day or next day of submitting the passports or PPR in person.
Medicals review, Collection of PR fee, Passport verification etc. these all are final factors that Visa Office check before issuing Visas.
Second never submit your passport in person provided you get any proof from the consulate with the date of submission and name of person submitted to. If you cannot get receipt of submitting your passports in person do not go in person, better to courier your passports at least you will have proof that you have submitted your passports.

Thanks
Wicky

Nowadays, CHC has slow down the processing of old applicants. So cant predict any time frame right now.

All the best...

Cheers..

Might slow down of 2004 months means from
77months to 100+ months. :(
