Hi guys,

I will have my oath-taking on September 9th and I am reading the instructions they sent to me.
The affirmation of oath form is needed to be signed and send it back through email right?, but which email address will I send the form specifically? I am confused honestly. The instruction said " e-mail it immediately (should be no longer than 2 days) to this e-mail address" but where?? :D the email address I got my invitation have a red mark saying " This message is sent via an inbox that does not receive messages, please do not reply to this email"

I am from Calgary!

Please help :)

Hi
Relax During you virtual oath ceremony you will be guided by the host. After solemnizing you will be asked by the oath to sign the oath affirmation form in his presence with black ink and after ceremony you have to email the oath affirmation form duly signed to the sender of the email by which you have been informed about oath ceremony. The host and Judge are very cooperative and you can ask any question from them, they will be happy to reply to you.
Congratulations for oath invitation and soon becoming Canadian.

They asked me to email signed and dated oath certificate to the same email address in which i got my oath invitation and information like zoom id and password or so.

You need to send them back on the same email you got the form.
Make sure not to fill the right uper column (it's for official use only)

I also got an oath invite from Calgary office. The email came from this email address:
IRCC.DNCitCALScheduling-ConvocationCALCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
But it's a no-reply email address.

But in the e-mail it says the following:
If you are unable to attend this event, please contact us as soon as possible at cic-citoy-convo@cic.gc.ca or at the mailing address mentioned on your Notice to appear. Please include a reasonable explanation as to why you are unable to attend.

The notice itself doesn't contain any email address. It always refers to "this" email address.

Many months back when I received the test invite, they asked me to contact at cic-calgary-citizenship@cic.gc.ca.

So confusing. Maybe we should just confirm the email address right after the oath ceremony just to be sure?

yes, I am also super confused! when is your oath-taking?

Mine is scheduled for September 3rd, this Thursday.

On the Virtual Oath Form we need to pre-populate the top right corner fields? Do we leave the Certificate No. and Section Article fields blank? Or where can I find that info?

You need to send them back on the same email you got the form.

Are you sure we do not need to fill any of those fields? In the email instructions it says "Ensure you pre-populate all the required information regarding your File number, Client ID, Date of Birth, Choice of Language, Telephone number and your full complete name next to the Applicant area"

That surely is a new addition to the procedure!

After my ceremony I received a post ceremony email "Instructions for Post Ceremony Administration " listing the procedure for completing the oath form and destructing the PR card.

The procedure for completing the oath form section stated the following (copy pasted from original email):
- It is necessary that immediately following your citizenship ceremony you sign the Oath or Affirmation of Citizenship form. This form was attached to your citizenship ceremony invitation letter, and to this email for your convenience.

- You must add your full name at the top beside “Applicant”.

- Sign and date it in both places indicated on the form.

- Scan it and email it back to the same email address we contacted you with. There are free scanning Apps that can be downloaded if necessary. Please only send one email with all the required documents.

In any case you can get it clarified during your ceremony.

All the best.

Yes I'm sure, One of my friend filled and send them and he got it returned. You only need to fill your name and signature and date nothing else.
