Hello everyone,
Just a general post!
If peoples post something for information/details/etc. which would be applicable for you/ general forum members. You must see for that on this website post views are most. However, replies are very negligible. Everyone including senior member of this forum would be reading these post as well.
General request, if you are aware of an answer which this forum people are seeking to find out then reply with an answer just don’t read it...
Your reply makes something difference for who is in need

Cheers

No offense.. But most of the time, questions and views requested from fellow forum members, may it be a senior or newbie, were generously extended to those who needed it.

it would only be natural for someone to just read through and not answer ESPECIALLY when they read the same query over and over (which happens very often).

I would, however, remain supportive in any way I can of this forum though I don't answer to posts as frequent than others.

I agree with you Omshri, I posted following thread to ask a question but didn't get any reply from any senior here, still some of the Newbie tried to suggest but it wasn't a definitive answer...

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t155420.0.html

Finally , I submitted my application with whatever I could fill..Senior help is seriously required....atleast some pointer if the thread was already posted and they are aware of it ....

but if they have decided not to reply...what one can do... :(

Hi nick!

I understand the frustration on your side but if you didn't get the answer you needed on this forum, why did you submit your app (quoting) "with whatever I can fill" attitude? It's like
saying, "this is all I have..it's up to fate or whoever". You should have consulted an immigration specialist, consultant or lawyer.

In all fairness to the seniors of this forum, they have been "heroes" of most of us. Appreciate what they did and will do for others instead.

Agreed. Everyone needs to understand that people aren't paid to answer questions - but they still try to help out where possible.

I've tried to encourage numerous people to use the search function, and it's been suggested by newbies that I have a bad attitude for doing so!

Nick, had you done a quick search on the forum you would have seen that your question re Indian education has been answered over and over again. So, why should people go out of their way to answer something that has already been addressed several times, when you haven't even taken the time to do a basic search?

I agree with both of you guys, and of course admire all the help given by seniors to Newbie , its not the paid job . it's their courtesy that they are helping.......one day we(Newbie) may also reach there and help others....... But If 'questions' are unanswered for a long, what is the Forum for then?

so regarding search function , I did search even before posting the question , however I didn't find the answer I was looking for.....

The exact years to be filled in Elementary, High schools section? which is confusing.... if you see my post after almost waiting for a week for answer(Again I am not saying its mandatory expectation from Seniors),I opted out based on wikipedia..which I mentioned 'Whetever I could fill attitide',

If you see that 'Over and Over again post', please give me a pointer....I would still like to see those numbers......

agreed with people above. of course it'd be nice to get as many answers and opinions as possible. but to be fair there are many reasons why people read the post but not answer it:
a) people who are in the same boat as the poster
b) don't know how to answer the question
c) know the answer but not quite sure
d) the questions isn't something that someone thought it would be
e) and personally i dont like to answer general questions that can be easily found online like how to apply, what documents are needed, and if their language test scores are enough to apply. sometimes people are just too lazy and take advantage of helpers to give all the info they need with no effort. it's unfair.

so number of views and replies shouldnt matter
