Can I have some info on VFS Ahmedabad?
Hows the service and what is the difference if we send PP & docs through VFS or through courier.

hi edmonta. you will send your passport through bluedart very easily from Ahmedabad. you just keep all docs and passport in one good thick cover and mentioned "FROM" address as NDVO Address, New Delhi and "TO" address as your name and address. donot mentioned your file number in your address details and submit to BlueDart office. they provide you a receipt and charged 450 RS near around for 3 passport. more than 3 i don't know. your document reached to NDVO on next day near around 10:30 AM. you can track your courier through track no which will given in receipt provided by Bluedart.

myself also sent a whole package through BlueDart from Ahmedabad on 11-June-2013 and package reached to ndvo next day near around 10:30 AM. and now allmost 2 month gone and also RPRF draft was encashed on 17-June-2013 but no good news regarding visa with passport back.

Please mention your file number and uci number along with address, it will be only for convenience of ndvo, try writing a cover letter also

Thanks Brandy & ppatel,
what I was looking for is how VFS treats our file & PP?
Courier service is ok but wanted to know What is VFS then stands for,what is their role and how beneficial to send PP & Docs through VFS.
From another thread I came to know that it is safer to send docs & PP through VFS ,they give tracking on SMS and also when PP is stamped & will be delivered,they give sms alert.Also it goes through proper channels.

Let me if any more info. is available with anyone specially for VFS Ahmedabad as I am from Gujarat and within a week going to submit PP & docs to VFS Ahmedabad.
