Very worried. Waiting time after medical. plz help

Hello guys,

I sent my medical examination forms on 11/09/2009. Till now I haven't received anything from CHC in London. I sent them an e-mail. They replied that routine background checks are requested. I've been waiting for 6 months since I sent my medicals. Is this normal? When should I expect my passports request? Plz help

Hi Besho,

I can understand your frustration. I applied in Buffalo in June 2008, completed and submitted my medicals in June 2009 and got PPR in Feb 22nd 2010. The waiting period after medicals is a long one especially if one has travelled a lot or resided in the Middle east.

You cannot do anything, pretty much wait for the PPR. All the best my friend, don't lose hope.

It is a normal process that the background checks take a long time for some applicants from certain countries. I am almost a year after my medical now and still nothing from Buffalo. You do not have to be worried, but you have every right to be frustrated and mad.

No worries. London CHC received our medical results 7 months ago and untill now I sent 5 email to them and they replied me that our file is in routine background check.
So we have to wait and patient and pray.
