I recently found out that my study permit application was refused. Were I to apply again from the same country as I originally applied, it would take way too long (6 weeks!). My question is, are the estimated processing times given by the Government of Canada website valid for online applications as well, or only for offline applications? Because I'm thinking I could have someone (I personally know) residing in a country whose processing time is very short (1-2 weeks) act as my representative and apply instead of me, but I don't want to put them through the hassle of going to a Visa Application Center and filling out all the paperwork and so I would prefer having them apply online.
