Yeah your friend can land on a weekend as long the airport is not closed for weekends !

Thanks for your response. Its inward sponsorship and was ask to come to Etobicoke. just want to be sure he will be landed on that day or he should call them to reconfirm the th date?

If its an inland application and they asked to come on a saturday then whats your friend is worried about ? Just go on that saturday!
