Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Dear Members,

I have an urgent query.

My spouse lives in India (Married last month), I am in process of applying her PR through Spouse Sponsorship.
However, she is a pharmacist, and she has got a letter from PEBC (Pharmacy Evaluation Board of Canada) inviting her to come to Canada to appear for a pharmacist exam.

Now, if I file her both applications now, is her Visitor visa going to be rejected after this because we have filed her PR?

Please help guys we are in need of urgent help.

Thanks

As my experience , I'am sure that you can apply both.

Many people applied same and they got visa as well.

:)

Good Luck ;D

hi there,
i was in the same situation as your case,
there is not relation with visit visa and PR application, but in the visit visa section you have to mention that you are in process of PR application.
there are high 50% chances to getting a visa depends on how strong is your case.
i too got a letter same as your wife but i got a visit visa refusal due to lack to ties to home country and lack of funds.
since i was already on my way to PR i didnt bother much.

but there is no harm in applying, its better to try and fail than not trying at all..either way it dosent affect your either application..so harm in giving a try

No, it will not get rejected automatically just because she applied for PR. Read this:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/dual.asp

She must however demonstrate on her TRV application that she will return to her home country. Depending on that she might get accepted or rejected. For example, if she has a full time job in her home country, this increases her chances. Also, the fact that she is coming for a specific reason (the exam) should help her too. Try and see.
