VERY URGENT: Delay in processing Dependant visa

Hello Friends,

I need some urgent advice from seniors/experts of this forum. I have filed for my spouse visitor visa from India and the embassy requested medicals which were completed and the passport has been resubmitted along with the medicals. Its been more then 12 working days now and VISA is still not issued.

Can someone please share their experience if they are still waiting or what can be the reason for such a delay.
 
Friends,I have submitted my application for a visitor visa on March 3 and got a request to attend embassy medicals and the same was completed and sent back to embassy on March 20. Just today I have received an email from embassy saying that they have requested for medical furtherance examination. But I am yet to receive the passport and the details of medical furtherance examination. Can you please let me know how long it might take to receive the passport?
