Hello All,

I have a very important question about PR cards and i would appreciate any help.
I have received copr and i am planning to land for couple of weeks then go back home to finalize things before I go back to settle in Canada. My question is, can i put my sister's address in canada for my PR card to be sent to her and then have it sent to me by courier?
I read somewhere that this is illegal and pr cards have something to detect if they have been sent abroad.
If anyone has an experience in this i would appreciate your input.
Thank you

Hi

yes you can use your sisters address , no issues in this.
Please note that PR Cards could not be couriered out of Canada.

Any how you can enter Canada any time once you have completed landing formalities without PR Card being issued.

Process is apply for Landing Document from your home country to Canadian High commission , they will demand copy of your COPR and will issue you visa.

You can thus complete your back home committments
