Verification at work

My verification is done today at my workplace.
There was Indian guy in his late 50 es, and he took following docs.
form 16 a
Bank statement as a salary proof
Job descriptor
Attendance etc

I would like to know does it happen to any MPNP candidate so far.

since july 2013 (AOR), I have not received any update.
Today all of sudden somebody came for verification.

My nomination is also due, so I am not sure whether this verification
is for nomination or........

I have not heard this kind of verification before nomination.
