Valuable INFO for applicants waiting for visa for more than 3 weeks !!

hello folks ,
i would like to share one of my experience that happened with me today ,
my application was submitted on 4th of July new delhi and since then i didnt hear from the CHC, so finally i decided to email the CHC yesterday i.e 11th aug to enquire about whats causing the delay.
i got a reply from them today saying that they are still waiting for my medical satisfactory results in order to process my application further. After which i called up the hospital to know what is really going on ? after constantly trying to reach the right person, i finally got to know that the CHC has advised the hospital for 2 more tests, which i completed them today.

Now the point here is, neither the hospital nor the CHC informed me about these additional tests that needs to be done and i dont know since when it was there in my hospital id as i was simply under the impression that my application is being processed normally.
Things u guys can do if u r application has exceeded the processed time :
1. e-mail the CHC and ask them whats causing the delay. Dont hesitate to contact them at all .
2. make sure u call your concerned hospital where u conducted your medicals either upfront or later on and ask them if they have submitted your reports correctly or if there are any more additional tests to be done
3. medicals can really delay your application so make sure u r ahead of it .

I hope after reading this , many applicants could gain some knowledge and not face the same situation i faced.

I have send them an email on monday, still no reply.... What could be the reason for delay in processing? You are lucky that you got a reply ... Which addreSs did you email?

hello vignesh,

all the doucments u submitted are completely fine . the only problem is that should have done your medicals upfront itself rather than waiting for the CHC to guide you through it because in some cases it can really delay your application.

and in your case since your application time has already exceeded 3 weeks , u should definately contact the CHC via
e-mail (delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca) and enquire as to what needs to be done further .

also i hope u attached a SOP or a study plan with your application as to why u chose this course and what are your future plans upon completion of the course . will u return to your home country and all that information .?

after your medicals done and submitted , and if everything in the application is in order and correct it shouldnt take more than a week i guess. But u neve know CHC has its own way of dealing every application that no one can predict
