Validity of Reference Letter

I worked for a year in NOC B category and after a year i left the job. I have all the necessary documents from my employer required for the Express entry, but my concern is if I get the invitation after 3 or 4 months is the reference letter valid or do i need to request for up to date new letter.

Yes, it's perfectly valid as you're not working with them anymore.
