Friends,

My application was received on 26th June 2014 at CIC and I have got mail for submitting PCC along
with medicals on 12th Feb 2015.I also paid the RPRF on 18th Feb.

I already received the PCC meanwhile on 28th August 2014.

Now, the CIC web site says "The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply."
in the following link.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

What does this mean? 3 months before apply mean which date? Which date is considered as date of "apply" ?

Please help suggest.

Thanks,
Bruhaspati.

Your PCC cannot be older than three months when it is received by CIC. So you need to get a new PCC. The one from August 2014 is too old.

Thanks Scylla.

CIC mentions not older than 3 months before you apply.

Is not my "applied" date considered as 26th June?

On the online guide:
Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO (Centralized
Intake Office), please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months
earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.
However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police
certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

Nishi: you need to send physical copy!..i hope you got attachment in the MR mail

Thanks VG for your reply.

Could you please let me know where to send the PCC ? Is it at the Delhi office ?
