Hello,

I'm in the process of relocating my job position within my company from US to Canada and I'm currently waiting to receive the COPR after having sent passport copy to CPC Ottawa after PPR.

My question is, what would I need to show in order to be able to legally start working in Canada? My current status is just visitor.

My thinking was that once I would receive COPR I would be able to activate it by driving back and forth from US and request a SIN. Would that be enough to show proof of valid work status (COPR + SIN)? or would I need to physically receive the PR card first?

Thanks,
A*

You just need a SIN.
