Valid visa on a cancelled passport
Hi, i'm sorry to ask the same question again. in short words, Im iraqi lives in belgium and i hold a permit residency card in Belgium. I have a valid passport till 8-2016 with a valid visitor visa to canada till 8-2016.
I visited Canada on september and i staid there for 2 weeks, i got married there and my wife has the canadian nationality.
I want to renew my passport and when i'll get the new passport the old one with the valid visa will be cancelled but still contains the valid visa.
As i have seen from the answer im allowed to enter Canada by using both old and the passports.
The problem is that i have to change the spelling of my name in the new passport as shown below
My name in the old passport is: Mohammed Reyad
The name in the new passport: Mohamed Riad
Basically it is the same name but with different spelling. I have also a document that proves both names are for the same person which is issued by my embassy.residency card in Belgium

The question is there gonna be a problem if i travel to Canada the next time holding the old passport with the valid visa and the new one and the document that proves that both names are for me?
Kind regards
