Valid 2017 issued Canada Multi entry visa, Can I travel without biometrics

I got Canada multiple entry tourist visa in 2018 before the biometrics rule came in place. I did not visit Canada then. Now I plan to visit (drive by car) to Canada from USA . Do I need to give biometrics before hand ?
I hold an Indian passport.
