Hello, I have a question....I am a Canadian Citizen living in Italy who is currently applying to sponsor my husband in family class, because we decided to move to Canada. My question is if we can visit Canada while our paperwork is getting done, or must he remain here until all is approved? Would really like him to come with us to Toronto....Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes, your husband is visa-exempt and so can visit Canada while the PR is processing.

The usual maximum is 6 months. If you wish to continue residing there during the entire processing, he has to apply for an extension at least 30 days before his current status expires.
