Vacation consideration for CEC/FSWP

Hi all,

I'm working outside Canada and in March 2018, I would have completed 10 months full-time. I'm thinking of taking a vacation for a month to visit my relatives in the US in March 2018. That will sort of break the continuity in my work. On the website, it says that the one year experience must be full time and continuous. If I take a vacation for a month after 10 months of full-time and them continue working again, will it create an issue? In other words, will the officers allow a month long vacation in a 14 month full-time?

I'll apply after approximately 14 month full-time experience including 1 Month vacation.

Help will be appreciated.

It does not matter if you take a month long vacation granted from your company and you are still employed with that company. What matters is that your employment status is active with the same employer throughout the duration you will be claiming points for.
