Hello everyone,
A distant relative (one of my dad's sisters) recently had her application for a visitor visa approved. She had attempted to get a visitor's visa to Canada twice before, but her application was rejected both times. She was allowed to enter the country and she is currently staying with me. She bought a round-trip plane ticket from China (Beijing) and she entered the country in late January. She is supposed to leave at the end of the month but she was considering extending her stay. What is the maximum amount of time that someone can remain in Canada on a V1 visa if there was no exit date stamped on the passport? How soon can someone return to Canada after leaving the country? For example, if she leaves in late February, can she return again in March or April? The V1 visa allows for multiple entries into Canada.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Eric G
