My wife has been travelling to Canada using a multiple entry Visitor visa valid till August 2020. Until a few weeks ago, she has been granted Permanent Residency and her passport stamped with Immigrant Visa.
The Visitor Visa is stamped on her other passport when she was still single.
Our travels are planned in advance. She is travelling again to Vancouver from Bangkok in December to spend Christmas and attend a conference in Las Vegas in mid- December. Returning to Bangkok just after New Year.
Our dilemma is that she can not land as Immigrant from Bangkok as there will be not enough time to process the PR card that will allow her to travel back and forth from Vancouver-Las Vegas.
The plan is to use the Visitor Visa upon arriving from Bangkok and enter as Landed Immigrant upon arriving from Las Vegas.
Is this allowed?
Appreciate your advise.
