Using abbreviations where enough space is not available

Dear All,

Background Declaration form > 10. Education:

I have did my Secondary education from "Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education" Lahore. Now there is no enough space in the "Name of Institution" column to write the complete name of the board. Can I write down the abbreviation here i.e. B.I.S.E.

Same is the case for Economic Class form > 11. Work Experience:

Under the occupation there is no enough space to write "Software Development Manager". Can I write "Software Dev. Manager" here?

u can use abbreviations. but attach an extra sheet at the end of Background Declaration Form. in that extra sheet explain the elaborations of all the abbreviations

Main Duties: I am mentioned my main duties briefly (see below) in the space available:

"Assigning and prioritizing development tasks and supervising their execution by enforcing project processes and policies. Assistance in formulating estimates and time lines for projects."

Should I explain these in more detail on an attached sheet or the above description is enough?

personally i think, u should fill in each form as if u r sending full docs to ur Local CHC. in that way, when u receive ur AOR from Sydney, NS, u don't have to fill those form again. u can just photocopy them , put original signature & send them to Local CHC. so, what i did in my case isthat i started the duities on the main form & then attached extra sheet with it with all my duites. when i received AOR from Sydney, NS, i idn't change anythin. i just photocopied & signed & sent them to CHC.

practically, i saw some cases in the forum that people were refused from Sydney, NS coz CIO didn't think they r performing main duites. so, practicall also, i think u should put all ur duties with due details.

i am almost sure CIo won't return ur application bcoz u put so many duties. but CIO might return or reject ur application if there are too few duties mentioned.

I am in Pakistan and would be mailing to Islamabad. In this case should I tick this section or what to do?

well, if u r sending ur appication for the very 1st time, u should send it to CIO at Sydney, CANADA & hence tick that box.

if u have already received ur initial approval from CIO, Sydney, Canada, then & only then send it to Islamabad CHC.

hmm.... This is my very first application and I was planning to send it to Islamabad.

Now when I am supposed to send it to Sydney Canada, what should I write in:

"Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" form under the "Visa office requested for the process of your application". Would it still be Islamabad?
