Hello. I submitted my application with the SAME email put for the sponsor and PA. However I did not attach the Use of Representative form. I did receive my AOR1, but it’s been a few days and I haven’t received my biometrics request yet. Will my case be delayed due to the fact that I didn’t submit a use of representative form? Do I have to submit a use of representative form NOW through WebForm?
PLEASE HELP!!!

you can submit a new form for use of representative at any time. You should not have any delay with the situation you described above. If you try to send an email or webform they might get confused and not release the requested info to you until they see the use of representative.

Thank you beyond beyond words for your reply. I appreciate it so much!
So in your opinion, do you think I should not send the form?

there is no harm in sending the form. I have done the same thing many many months after submission. I (the sponsor) was trying to follow up as to why the PA received a biometrics request for herself but not her 17 year old son. They refused to give me any information (both on the phone and via the web form) because I am the sponsor not the PA and I should have a Use of Representative form saying I can get information.

I found that weird becuase the sponsor signs most (not all) of the same paperwork. In fact, if you look down at section 10 of the 5478 there is a place for the sponsor to sign as well. So my response was "Wait, you want to sign a form saying I give myself permission to get that information"..

They answered Yes without even batting an eye. Thats the Canadian government for you :|

Thank you so much I appreciate your response so much! I guess I will wait for a week and if there is no response for biometrics then I will submit the form.
