USA/UAE Police Certificates?

My apologies if this question has been covered before, however I am new to the forum and may have missed out on those posts!

I need my USA and UAE character/police certificates, but am currently based in Pakistan which makes this a lot more complicated than it should be. UAE- I can probably make a quick stop and get it made on the spot (unless someone can suggest a cheaper alternative), but does anyone have any experience with the USA one based while living in Pak? The nightmarish tales I hear are scary and I could use all the advice to streamline this to the max.

I can't comment on the USA PCC, but in my experience as well as my friend's, you might encounter some snags with the UAE PCC if you are unlucky as us. I'm talking spellings mistakes, incorrect data...etc mainly if you opt to request it in English. I had to order an Arabic copy and have it translated, as it will be quicker than visiting so many departments to get your data corrected and wait again for a new report.

Also, since you are based outside UAE, the procedure could be a bit different than current residence. I advise to review the websites beforehand:
