USA Trip on L1 visa

Anyone faced similar situation pls advise,I received my Canadian PR which is valid till Apr 2011.
I am yet to land in Canada,meanwhile my company wants me to travel to USA for about 1 year on L1 visa.
Do you think I will get L1 visa with Canadian PR already on my passport...
Is it OK to travel to USA with Canadian PR??
My plan is to land in Canada once I am in USA and get my PR extended ..
Anyone having any knowledge of been in a similar situation pls advise....

Once you are in US, you can do the landing formalities ( by car as well), just enter Canada and drive back to US just like lots of H1 ppl do...you will be just fine...


You can search forum and will find tons of landing exp via land( using Car)...anyway, I am planning to do the landing by road in July as well...let know if you would like to join me.
