Hello,

About 3 years ago, I applied for a TRV to Canada.
I was a legally USA international student working in USA under OPT (working permit)
long story short, I was denied a TRV due to my Immigration status (working permit in USA that's about to expired within 5 months)
and also Job status ( I was an unpaid intern)
I am now back in my home country (Malaysia) and have a full time job, my family is all here too. I recently was granted a USA visa.
I"m wondering what is my odds on getting approved for a TRV now. my immigration status and job status has obviously changed.

Also, Is being denied a visa going to ruined your record?

THank you for helping. I'm really scared of reapplying.

Please help. Anyone. :)

Your personal circumstances are different to those when you applied for your previous visa. On paper you are less of a risk of overstaying in Canada (as you have a job and family back home) so your chances of a TRV appear to be significantly improved. You will not know till you apply though..good luck.
