USA CPP timeline

I sent my request on Sept 16th, and I am still waiting for the mail from FBI. I know they were opening mail from Sept 15th just before Christmas. I am assuming they got mine around Sept 20th. Any idea when should I expect to get my pcc? Thanks! It will be mailed to Toronto. Also, I paid by bank draft so I cant check when the fee was taken off my visa.

Anyone who recently got their PCC back and when was it mailed?

Hi, I sent mine in November sso too early to say.
But my friend applied for that in august and received at the end of november.

Their web site claims i think up to 14 weeks.

I sent mine in early November. Haven't heard back yet, and my card has not yet been charged for the fee.
I am thinking of calling them to ask them what's going on.

My friend who applied included the shipment docs and receipts and an exlanation letter citing the process time claimed in the fbi web site.
She was later asked to send additionally the certificate when she receives that. she ssent it a month or so later than the other docs.

Hi guys!
My documents were delivered to FBI on the 25th September (as per Canada Post Tracking). Just on the 14th January my credit card was charged. I still didn't get the sertificate itself, but I believe it will come next week. I tried to call FBI on the 6th January-they said that they are working on files received on the 21th September. Very slow processing. But I am happy at least my credit card was charged meaning PCC is coming soon!

They usually mail it within 3-4 days, and you need to add mailing time to that. If in US, you should have it in about 7-10 days after credit card was charged. If abroad (India, etc.) it might take a long time. It took a month plus one week after credit card charge for my report to reach Nepal.

I would think so. You'll probably get it even sooner. Post service in Nepal is not very fast. I've seen on the forum that ppl from India are saying they generally receive it within 2-3 weeks.

Finally got mine! its ridiculous. I sent my fingerprints on Sept/17, and got it back on Jan/25... Hire more god damn people and increase the fee to 50$... Problem solved!
