Can I apply for US visiting visa after 2 months of landing in Canada on PR. I have valid job offer but joining date is 2 months later. I would like to visit US meanwhile

Which is what I meant, but I can see it could be misinterpreted. You won't need a card to leave Canada by air, but will to return.

You could, theoretically, re-enter Canada via private vehicle or foot at a US land border with only your COPR.
