Guys, my husband applied for us visa in 2007 and i got refused
I believe we shud mention that in our Ee application.
However, he cant remember the reason for rejection.
What can we do about that?

Also should i mention it since it is 10 yrs ago and there is no any rejection stamp on the passport

I believe the question is something like, " Has [name of application] ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?"

Since he was refused a US Visa, you must disclose it on the app. To fail to do so can get you charged with misrepresentation.

Well if he could not remember then he has to mention that he could not remember. If it was a visit visa, he could simply mention, that my visit visa was refused and I could not remember the exact reason of refusal as it has been almost 10 years.

Thank you so much

My wife was refused a us visa but we subsequently got one. There is no rejection stamp but we have mentioned it. US and Canada may share data

Even my wife doesn't remember the reason. She showed me the rejection paper but it's so vague. It was a generic rejection letter without a specific reason for refusal.

so what did you write in the reason for refusal?

The most common reason for rejection is "214(b) - Potential Immigrant".

I had my student visa rejected twice and eventually got it in the third attempt.

We just mentioned the refusal and attached the refusal letter. Let CIC decide what the reason was cos we didn't understand the reason for refusal. We have filled schedule A as well.

What is schedule A ? And when do we have to fill it?

CIC usually asks people with refusals to submit schedule A. I submitted it in advance so they don't waste time requesting it later. You can google it and you can find the form online.

So what's the use if same information in my eapr application will be the same as schedule A ? Is there something specifically they check for?
