Hi - what would be the fastest way to get into BC as an RN (over 10 years experience in specialty care and ICU)? We thought we would go about applying for perm residency through the skilled workers visa program, but now I am thinking it might be better to apply through the Provincial Nom Program. What are the best healthcare companies/systems or companies to apply to or speak with in order to get a job quickly? In order to apply through the PNP you need a job first and an employer to sponsor you, corret? In that case, once you have a job...how long does it take to get all the paperwork processed so that you can move to BC and start your job?

We were not planning on moving to BC until next year, but due to the market here in the US we decided to put our house up for sale this summer and it recently sold (we did not think it would sell until at least end of the year!), which is why we are now wanting to move sooner than later to BC. We are just looking for the fastest way to move up to BC (either with a job or without). No matter what, we are planning on applying for perm residency, but if we could get in on a temp work visa with a temp RN license, then we would do that instead and apply for PR after we get there. Any thoughts or expereiences on this for those of you from the US?? Thanks!
