Deccan ,

Congrats for your PPR . Generally we cannot send the passport out of our residing country . Its a general rule .
But I am not sure here. Did u email CIC on this
?

Thank you for your kind wishes!

I was on the fence about this for a while but did end up mailing passports to Ottawa via FedEx. I did this after getting first-hand, reliable information from a couple of forum members.

Time after Ready for Visa Email

Hi Guys,

Wondering how long does it take to get your passport back after receiving the ready for visa email.
I am Indian citizen, applied from US and got email last week.

Thanks

I'd say give it about two weeks. Basing this on general timelines reported on this forum.

Like your username, btw :-)

I used Fedex next day air, Indian passports reached Canada and came back in 24 hrs (each side) once the tracker got activated. Processing took 4 days.

Hi friends ,

I have a question .. for applicants from USA , does the application get process in Canada or at Canada embassy in USA ?
I am from India , right now residing in USA for few years. I am a PNP candidate

Also I heard ffor applicants from USA , it takes longer for processing than other countries . is that true ? please someone tell their timelines

Timelines have extended to about 17 days. Was 6 - 9 days two days ago. I shipped my PP via fedex too.

Question ? When the return tracker gets activated, will I see it once I log into my Fedex account as inbound mail ? I forgot to write the return label tracking number but monitoring stuff from my Fedex account. Nothing has been activated yet. PPR reached Oct 23rd (i am not an EE applicant)

Got COPR today.

A little under 6 months from AOR to COPR.

Not quite as long of a wait as some others have experienced--still are, even. But it sure is a huge relief.

Best wishes to those still waiting.
