US H1B or Canada FSW?

Hi everyone,
I got a pharmacist degree from the US, and my working visa was approved. I will be working in the US starting October. My question is should or can I apply for Canada FSW in the meantime (IELTS 7.5)? Is there any restriction later on if I decide to apply for green card for one country versus the other? We're all looking for a better future, and to me, Canada can help me to settle down quicker.

You can apply to FSW if eligible and have all documentation. Whether you get an ITA will depend on your CRS score. If pharmacist as a job, then your degree must be evaluated by PEBC.

When I was applying for H1B working visa, there was one question regarding if I ever applied for a PR in any other countries. If it occurs later on, shouldn't it be a problem or anything right?

There is currently a surplus of pharmacists in Canada at the moment especially retail pharmacists so salaries have actually been decreasing iin over thebyhe last 15 years depending on what area. Quebec is the only place that hasn’t been impacted as much because most of the huge volume of international pharmacists arriving in Canada every year do not speak fluent French. There are rumours that there are going to be changes in the FSWP and express entry in general. The pharmacists groups have been lobbying very hard to reduce the amount of foreign trained pharmacists in Canada since tuition prices have gone up significantly in most of the countries while salaries have decreased pretty significantly and many has pharmacists usually working multiple pharmacy part-time jobs without access to benefits. The current model favours pharmacist immigration or anyone with a professional degree Most of the salaries posted online are incorrect. No community pharmacist is making 100k unless they own the pharmacy. Hourly rate was $32-34/hr in many locations last time I checked with minimal chance of carreer advancement unless your store has a pharmacy manager (my pharmacy decided to get rid of the pharmacy manager. They had been working there for a long time and started when signing bonuses were still a thing. There is lots of pressure to get rid of more experienced pharmacists who started when salaries were much higher and hire someone new at the current rate which would have been significantly less than the previous pharmacists was earning. This is leading to loos of quality at many pharmacies and more errors beinb łl

Barrier to entry is still the major problem for most pharmacist. There is also a huge issue of fraud within the pharmacy system.
